Beautiful home at Belfry Lake

Traumhaus direkt am Wasser

Dreamhome right on the shore of awesome Belfry Lake

The picture above was taken from a kayak on Belfry Lake in front of the house and demonstrates the absolute fantastic location right on the water. In the middle, you can see the main house and on the right side you can see the recreation building. On the left side of the main building you can see the boat house which conceals the barbecue area behind it. A little bit further left you can see the lookout tower.

Belfry Lake is about 6km long and about 2km wide and features 3 islands and several peninsulas. It is a freshwater lake which empties directly into the atlantic ocean. The almost current free Mason River connect Belfry Lake with Gabarus Lake which is a freshwater lake similar in size to Belfry Lake. During summer the waters of these lakes get a nice temperature for swimming and all kinds of water sports. Belfry Lake is divided from the atlantic ocean by an about 100 meter wide sandy and grassy dune. When you paddle with you canoe or kayak across the lake to the dune and walk over it you will find a nice atlantic beach which is about 20km long.
